Shirley Smith Bubendey (1921-2005) Oil on Canvas Impressionist Florida Coastal View. In Painted Cream Wood Frame. In frame 18"x21"x2". Weight 4 pds. Ms. Bubendey attended Rosemary Hall, Greenwich, CT and Syracuse University, College of Fine Arts majoring in Illustration. She was a trustee of The Syracuse Museum of Fine Arts (now Everson Museum) and taught and exhibited there. She was an original Trustee of The Rosamund Gifford Foundation in Syracuse for over 30 years. Once she moved to Florida, she belonged to the Vero Beach Art Club, Rowayton Art Center, American Impressionist Society and The American Society of Portrait Painters. In Vero Beach, she was also a former Board Member of The Riverside Theatre
