1081. ERNEST THOMPSON SETON (1860-1946) American naturalist and writer, instrumental in founding of the Boy Scouts of America. Signed copy of his book Wild Animals I Have Known, Charles Scribners Sons, New York: 1898. Signed twice on front endpage: "With best wishes of 'Seton-Thompson' which is also Ernest Thompson Seton", adding the date "2 Nov 1901" and a drawing of an animal paw. Gently worn cloth cover with a few small tears along exterior of spine, otherwise good. $200 - 300
