mixed media, 1976, comprised of wood, ink and stamps making up a miniature painting crate, with a loose piece inside (almost certainly intentional). Inscriptions reading Secret Drawing No. 1, Fragile, Do Not Drop, Art Object, and still others invoking Dada elements and commentary on art, without presenting an art object itself. Signed and dated twice- a fabulous and whimsical construction from McMillen, personal friend of Betty Asher's; 9.5 x 14 x 2 in.
