Saturio Alonso (b.1954) GEOMETRIC HEAD signed and dated [1987] lower left; signed again on reverse watercolour and graphite on paper 60 by 46cm., 23.5 by 18in. A Spanish-born artist who moved to Ireland in the 1980s, Alonso has done graphic work for the Sunday Tribune, Magill and In Dublin magazines. He now lives in Kilkenny and works mainly in the field of sculpture.
