each signed, three with initials, and dated 1950, 1952 and 1953.
Pencil, black ink, watercolour and gouache on paper, each measuring approximately 30 by 21 cm.
The costume designs now presented for auction were produced in the 1950s for the productions of Grey-Haired Girl (Vakhtangov State Academic Theatre, 1952) and Qu Yuan (Moscow Yermolova Theatre, 1954). Both productions were based on Chin
