Depicting a pair of lions wrestling snakes above a flowerhead guilloche border, beneath a male mask and mythical beast issuing a crane, inscribed "For Rev.(?) Dewitt Clark with Compliments of Rufus A. Grider, Canajaharie, N.Y.," and "Design of an ancient (?) Powder Flask-the lower part made of Bone-the upper Ivory-Original now in the Museum Prague," and "Mahogany Wood bottom;" framed. Sight 9 5/8 x 8 1/4 inches.
