Notes

"Schindler Units" were the lone attempt by the architect to develop a mass-produced line of furniture, with a patent applied for in the mid 1930's. He employed examples from the series in the Shep Commission, Los Angeles, of which surviving works are in the collection of Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Collection of Michael and Gabrielle Boyd, Los Angeles.
