Item Overview

Description

RUBINCAM, HARRY (1871-1940)
Boy playing with toy clowns. Platinum print, 9 1/2x7 1/2 inches (24x19 cm.). Circa 1905

Condition Report

This is a dreamy print in soft focus with a thin margin. There is a crease to the lower left corner extending 1/2 inch into the image. There is a 1/2 inch veritcal crease just below the boy's ear. There are some small "spots" which are slighly lighter in tone than the rest of the print in the background, probably from processing or coating the print. The paper is lightly age-darkened overall and there are 1 inch squares of adhesive on each corner on verso.

All items are offered for sale subject to Swann Galleries' standard terms and conditions of sale, which are published in our catalogues.
