Ronald Mallory (American, b. 1939) "Mercury Box", mercury, glass and mixed media square silver metallic frame containing layers of glass on a black ground, the layers with two pockets of fluid mercury, the upper layer bears the artist's etched initials, h. 7-1/2", w. 7-1/2", d. 1-1/2". Provenance: Acquired in May 1968 from Multiples Inc., 929 Madison Avenue, New York, by Luba Glade, New Orleans, Louisiana.
