Provenance: Bell Gallery, Belfast; McKee collection Exhibited: Retrospective exhibition, Bell Gallery, Belfast, August 1989, catalogue no. 36 This is a painting of the well known Minnowburn Beeches, where the Minnowburn runs into the river Lagan, just upstream of Shaw's Bridge in Belfast. The carefully arranged figures fishing in the Minnowburn are reflected in the water, in what is now a National Trust listed site.
