Notes

A Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, Pritchett was an inveterate traveller, visiting Switzerland, Norway and accompanying Lord and Lady Brassey on their world tours in 1883 and 1885. He was appointed Private Painter in Watercolours to Queen Victoria.
