Condition Note:

on a plaque afixed to the back "Bred by Henry J. Hopkins, winner of the 1st & 2nd prizes at Brockley, Smithfield Club, Bedford, Market Harborough, 1876 & 1877."

The work is in good condition, the canvas is lined. UNDER UV: There are retouches throughout the sky area varying in size from a pin hole size to a stroke of paint, but fairly miner. There are a few strokes of repainting in the body of the sheep.
