Description

Richard Buckner Gruelle (American, 1851-1914), summer serenade; gouache on paper; 14 1/4" x 11 1/4"; signed lower right. Gruelle served as a figure in the Hoosier School of painters, exhibiting with T.C. Steele, Otto Stark, J. Ottis Adams, and Wm. Forsyth.
