* RHONDA SMITH Self Portrait Study oil on canvas, signed and dated '91 47cm x 38.5cm Note : Rhonda was born in Glasgow in 1969 and graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 1991 with a B.A Hons. Fine Art (Drawing and Painting). Rhonda has been awarded many prizes during her career, including the Winsor & Newton Young Artist Award, Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the Bessie Scott Award, Paisley Art Institute. In 1996 she was a Kennox Prize Finalist,(Aspect Prize). Her work is regularly exhibited at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, Mall Galleries, the Royal Scottish Academy, and the Paisley Art Institute as well as galleries throughout Scotland and London. Her work is held in many public and private collections including Swiss Bank Corporation, KMM Ltd, Paisley Museum and Art Galleries, Hilton International Hotels and Thompson MacLeod Associates, Design Consultants.
