Condition Report

The canvas has not been lined. There is some craquelure visible throughout the painted surface, more pronounced in the sky, signs of old restoration towards the centre and some paint flaking notably in the trees and grass. Ultra-violet light reveals areas of retouching towards the lower left corner, in the sky in the upper centre and addressing the aforementioned craquelure, and other various scattered spots throughout. The work is otherwise in good condition and ready to hang. Presented in a black frame.
