PORTRAIT BY FELIX PFEIFER (1871-1945),
bronze medallion, obverse bust of Reger in profile facing right, signed and dated in the field by the sculptor 'Felix Pfeifer fec 1911' and inscribed with Reger's name in capitals, reverse an allegory of a naked man moving a large block of stone inscribed 'Arbeit über-windet alles',4½ in (11.4) diameter, attractive dark tone, good colour and patination, extremely fine.
