RAYMOND SUDRE (France, 1870 - 1962) Bronze Herme Bust. The 19th Century bust is signed on the left arm stump "Raymond Sudre". The French bronze bust of Herme is mounted on a variegated rouge marble base with an applied brass plaque marked "Prix de Concours, Ecole des Beaux-arts, Paris".The marble plinth has a ½" reglued flake on the bottom. The dark patinated bust is in good condition with no damage or repair. Measures 19 ½" in height and 15" wide.
