Description

Nearly identical to lot # 345 in our July 2005 sale which sold for $162,300; this decoy exhibits a slightly turned head, and a notched tail made to accommodate inserted live bird feathers, of which the some remnants still remain.

Strong original paint shows some flaking around the bill and tail, on the lower breast, and on the underside; overall very good structural condition.
