Notes

The entire work appears as if embedded in the wall and dictates its laws to the architectural space and extends over it or in it. The present work delivers a flow of appearances as well as the immediacy of sensations. Small pieces of white antenna cables are attached to the wall in a kaleidoscopic impression, a dispersion of matter, and a formal fragmentation. Each piece of cable is part of a complex order which would disintegrate if one of the elements were to disappear. The germination of the infinite field creates a sense of continuum in process as if the work was constantly being created in front of our eyes. The matter has been taken out of sculpture in order to create this visual lightness, while the shadows created by the light draw constantly the outline of new reliefs. The artist borrows this technique from film editing. The cables are the sequences of one same story. Thus, through the conceptual prism of a broken mirror, the work doesn't reveal itself to the outside world to be seen, but rather is discovered through focusing on the subject tangled in its form.
