Condition Report

The single copper plate is flat and stable. The paint surface is clean and appears to the naked eye to be in good condition, with the colours rich and still vibrant. A black area of 5 by 2 cm. to the right of the Saint's dress covers some old damage.Inspection under ultraviolet light points to some scattered localised retouchings under the thick varnish and the aforementioned black area, but otherwise confirms the overall good state of the paint surface. This work is offered in a modern, gilt, tabernacle frame in good condition.
