Notes

We are grateful to Mr. Fred Meijer of the RKD for confirming the attribution after inspection of the original. The format of the picture and the unusually free handling of paint suggests that it was originally intended to hang as an overdoor.

No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 17.5% will be added to the buyer's premium which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis
