Tithes being presented at the Temple with inscription 'Mic Corneille' red chalk, pen and brown ink, brown wash heightened with white on light brown paper, watermark wheel and proprietary, oval 254 x 326 mm. NOTES By the same hand as a drawing sold in these Rooms, 4 July 2000, lot 154, as two formerly with Crispian Riley-Smith and as one, of the same shape and size as the present one, sold at Sotheby's London, 5 July 2000, lot 351 (as French School). Other drawings by this pupil of Bourdon are in the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts and the Angers Museum, P. Rosenberg, 'A drawing by Pierre Monier', The Burlington Magazine, 1985, CXXVII, pp. 786-9.
