(Photograph) Taber, Isaiah West. Two mammoth plate albumen photographs of the Calaveras Grove of big trees, on both sides of a single mount. Includes: 817. "U.S. Grant," "J.B. McPherson" and "John T. Sherman," Calaveras Grove. With 4 women, 3 boys, a girl and a man standing or sitting by the giant trees, two of the women in a horse-drawn wagon. * 923. "Ohio," and "General Grant." The two mammoth trees tower over a small log cabin. Together, 2 photographs. Each approx. 15¾x20; with title and imprint in negative strip at bottom.
