A l’œil nu : Les tableaux se présentent dans un bel état de conservation. Ils ont fait l’objet de rentoilages correctement réalisés, et d’un nettoyage datant de la seconde moitié du XXe siècle. On remarque des usures dans les bruns qui ont été reprises. A la lampe U. V. : Le premier On remarque de nombreuses reprises au niveau des feuillages à droite, à gauche et en bas de la composition. Le second Le tableau se présente sous un vernis uniforme légèrement vert. On observe des restaurations éparses surtout dans les pourtours, ainsi qu’une restauration de 3 cm au niveau du torse et du genou du personnage au bord de l’eau. On remarque une importante restauration au niveau du bord gauche sur environ 20 cm de longueur et 2 cm de largeur. To the naked eye: The paintings appear to be in good condition. They have been correctly relined and cleaned on the 2nd half of the 20th century. We notice wears on the browns that have been retouched. Under U.V. light: The first one: We can notice numerous repaints on the vegetation on the right, and on the left and lower parts of the composition. The second one: The painting appears under a homogeneous and slightly green varnish. We notice scattered repaints especially on the edges, and also a restoration of 3 cm on the chest and knee of the figure next to the river. We notice an important restoration on the lower edge of circa 20 cm long and 2 cm wide.
