Notes

PROPERTY FROM A LONDON FAMILY COLLECTION (Lots 57-76)

The following nineteen lots are from a fine collection constituted in the 1960s by a London family whose appreciation of French glass was significantly sharpened through their friendship with legendary American collector-dealer Robert Walker, source of many of these pieces. Based in Paris, Walker (known to all as 'Bob' Walker) showed exceptional intuition, determination and energy in understanding and tracking the long-neglected treasures of 1900 and he became an inspiration and mentor to many.
