A catalogue of the exhibition {"Early Artists of the Bohemian Club"} accompanies this lot. . . Patigian created both public and private sculptures in San Francisco, one commission being a number of figural groups for the Panama-Pacific Internat ional Exposition of 1915. {Friendship} is a smaller version of one of those sculptural figures. A similar bronze is in the permanent collection of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.
