Paresh Maity is one of India's most renowned contemporary artists. He lives in Delhi and his works are in many collections worldwide, including the British Museum and the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi. His style has evolved over the years. His early works, such as the present lot, are mostly ethereal, mystical landscapes. His later style has since become more abstract.
