Framed oil on canvas, Flowers in Blue Vase, by Moise Kisling (Polish/French, 1891-1953), signed ''Kisling'' lower left, inscribed ''à James N. Rosenberg - mon ami sincère'' lower left, sight: 16.25''h x 13.25''w, overall: 21''h x 17.75''w. Provenance: Current owner inherited painting from her grandfather, James Naumburg Rosenberg (New York, 1874-1970). In 1922, Rosenberg founded the New Gallery in New York for the exhibition and sale of works by lesser know American and foreign artists. Rosenberg was a close personal friend of Kisling.
