Description

OUTSTANDING CARVED AND PAINTED WOOD CIGAR STORE INDIAN. Attributed to Samuel Anderson Robb 1851-1928. Chief figure has green, red and white headdress. Red and gold outfit, draped in brown blanket, and carries brown and green items in hand. Accompanied by custom wood plinth base of more recent vintage. SIZE: Figure without base is 58" h; with base is 76" h. CONDITION: Some linseed oil residue and various chips; overall very fine, likely with some layers of old touch up, having been exposed to the elements. 1-8744 (10,000-12,000)
