Condition Report

The canvas is not lined. UV examination reveals a few scattered spots of retouching throughout the composition, but predominately above and around the central figure. There is an old repaired tear towards the lower right corner. There is some further reinforcing on the leg of the far right figure. There are some light scratches and abrasions to the varnish layer; that would be easily treated. There is some extensive wear to the edges, including pin holes, scratches and scuffs, most of which are not visible when framed. The work is in overall fairly good condition.
