THIS IS AN ONLINE ONLY AUCTION. STERLING AUCTION HOUSE USES SEVERAL OTHER ONLINE AUCTION PLATFORMS. ANY FLOOR BIDS/ON-SITE BIDS REGISTERED WILL BE FROM PHONE BIDS, LEFT BIDS, OR OTHER ONLINE AUCTION PLATFORMS.
This is an ONLINE auction only. We also use other ONLINE auction platforms during the auction.
All sales are final and all lots are sold AS-IS. There are no returns or exchanges.

BUYERS PREMIUM
A Buyer's premium of 20% will be added to the hammer price/winning bid amount.
Address listed is for billing purposes only. Items are located at a separate warehouse.
RETURNS
All sales are final and all lots are sold AS-IS. There are no returns or exchanges.
PAYMENT
Only form of payment is through Auction Zip/Invaluable, check or money order.
Any invoice totaling over $1,500 must be paid by wire transfer ONLY.
The Bidder/Purchaser is legally responsible for payment. Payment is due within 3 days of Auction close.
Items will not be released, for any reason, prior to full payment being received. Items not paid for within 10 days are subject to storage fees of $10 per lot/per day, unless arrangements have been made
CONDITION
Condition requests or additional photography should be made prior to bidding. All condition reports are given as a courtesy to the potential bidder and are the opinion of the Auction. Absence of condition on any lot advertised does not imply that the lot is free of imperfections.
Photos are also part of the description, so please preview all photos carefully.
All sales are final and all lots are sold as-is with no warranties expressed or implied. There are no returns or exchanges.

High and low estimates are provided solely for comparison purposes and is no warranties of any kind relating to them. Any appraisals or evaluations provided are solely for the convenience of the Bidder and is not a warranty of any kind relating to them. TAXES
Winning bidders are required to pay New York State Sales Tax of 8.125% in addition to the hammer price and Buyers Premium of 20%.
All purchases are subject to the New York State Sales Tax of 8.125%, unless a valid tax Exemption Certificate and Number (NOT EIN Number) are provided or the items are being shipped out of state.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION 11. These Conditions of Sale, as well as the Purchaser's and the Company's respective rights and obligations hereunder shall be governed by and construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of New York. By bidding at an Auction, whether present in person or by Agent, order bid, telephone, internet or other means, the Purchaser shall be deemed to have consented to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state courts.
Contract
Sterling Auction House is providing Internet pre-auction and live bidding as a service to Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Sterling Auction House or anyone else if the Internet service fails to work correctly before or during the live auction. Sterling Auction House will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source.
