In part: “The Army has long profited by your many accomplishments. We consider ourselves especially fortunate to have had an officer of your professional knowledge and training as Chief Medical Officer at SHAEF during the late war. I am fully aware of General Eisenhower’s reliance on your outstanding ability. Your most recent responsibility as President of the Personnel Board was carried out with the same zeal and enthusiasm that have always marked your distinguished career.” In fine condition, with some mild toning, and a couple corner creases, not affecting text or signature.
