Olena Nylivna Yablonska – was born on 28th of August, 1918, in Smolensk city, Russia. She studied at Kyiv Art College, Kyiv Art Institute. Mentors: Eleva K., Krichevsky F., Shovkunenko O., Kotov P. Worked in the field of easel painting and poster. Combined the everyday genre with the industrial landscape, painted landscapes, still life, thematic paintings. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukrainian SSR since 1944. Since 1946 she participated in republican, all-union and international exhibitions. Honored Artist of Ukraine since 1977. Major works: "Restoration of the blast furnace" (1945), "In the native land" (1964), "November" (1967), "April" (1970), "Summer" (1971), "Khreshchatyk", "Harvest of apples" "Blossom poppy", "Geese" and others. Works are kept in the National Art Museum of Ukraine, Lugansk Art Museum, Museum of Contemporary Fine Art in Kyiv, and other private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Canada, USA. Olena Nylivna died on 25th of March, 2009.

PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE SITE AND ITS SERVICES. BY REGISTERING AND USING THE SERVICES OF THE SITE AS A BUYER, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE PRESENT AGREEMENT.

1. A buyer's premium is added to the successful hammer price of every lot purchased via invaluable.com which the purchaser of the lot agrees to pay along with applicable taxes as part of the total purchase price.
The buyer's premium INCLUDING Invaluable's 5% fee is as follows:
15% from $1 to $2,500 of the Hammer Price; and
10% from $2,501 to $9,999 of the Hammer Price; and
5% from $10,000 and up of the Hammer Price.
2. Payment for auction lots and premiums must be received within seven days of the auction date, and can be made by cash, PayPal, bank wire transfer, credit card (Visa, MasterCard) in the Gallery residence. We reserve the right to require payment by methods other than credit card or PayPal for any reason. All payment must be made in US Dollars or in EURO.
3. The Buyer should pay all State/Federal/Local taxes due to the law of his residence or where the winning bid is received if such is required.
4. The Buyer should not pay any kind of taxes in the country of L`Art Gallery residence (Ukraine).
5. The items offered for sale by L`Art Gallery, LLC are offered by us as owner. The contract for sale of the items is made therefore between us and the buyer.
6. All items are sold as-is and where-is. Bidders should personally examine each lot on which they will be bidding, in order to determine condition, size, and restoration or repair. All items are available for inquiries prior to bidding. Written and oral descriptions are our opinions and should in no way be construed as a guarantee of any kind as to authenticity, age, condition, materials or any other feature of items being sold. Photographic images of items being offered, whether provided in print or online, as well as references in the catalogue entry are provided as a convenience to prospective bidders. The absence of any reference in a condition report or photograph does not imply that an item is free from defect or restoration, nor does a reference to particular defects imply the absence of any others.
7. All sales are considered final with the following exception: L`Art Gallery, LLC will agree to a refund of the purchase price if within thirty (30) days of purchase, the purchaser obtains and sends to L`Art Gallery, LLC a signed written letter from a mutually recognized expert or authority on the artist stating unequivocally that the work is a forgery or not by the represented artist. The purchase date is the date of the auction. The choice of expert or authority must be mutually agreeable to L`Art Gallery, LLC and the purchaser. This exception will only apply to a work signed by the artist and not to an attribution, manner of, school of, circle of or follower of a particular artist. The letter must be signed, and on letterhead of the recognized expert or authority. Any exceptions to this rule must be specifically approved by L`Art Gallery, LLC.
8. We and the consignor disclaim any and all warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. No warranties are made that any of the merchandise complies with any applicable governmental rules, regulations or ordinances of any kind or nature whatsoever. No statement made anywhere, by us, our employees, officers, or agents, whether written or verbal, shall be deemed such a warranty or assumption of liability. Estimates of the selling price should not be relied on as a statement that this is the price at which the item will sell or its value for any other purposes. Neither L`Art Gallery, LLC nor its consignors are responsible in any way for errors and omissions in the catalogue, condition reports, or any other supplemental material.
9. We reserve the right to retain, publicize, and publish any photographs and descriptions of property we offer both prior to the auction and afterwards. We reserve the right to publicize and provide the results of any sale, including images, on our own website as well as to any third party we choose, including online auction-result databases. All images, text, photographic reproductions, and design in this catalogue are subject to copyright and may not be reproduced without our explicit written permission.
