OIL ON CANVAS SIGNED BURR SINGER '52 Signed lower left with pseudonym for Berniece Lee Singer (1912-1992 California). Measures 20 x 16 in a 28 x 24 inch frame. Burr Singer was the signed name of Bernice Lee Singer, painter and lithographer with a number of associations, achievements and exhibits to her credit including exhibitions at the 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition in San Francisco and at the New York WorldÆs Fair. See lot 102 in this auction for a pencil signed litho by 'Burr Singer' titled "Letter From Home". Very good, restored and varnished, some small areas and strokes of inpainting scattered throughout.
