dated. Chicago WPA painter. Studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, and exhibited there in the 1930s-40s. He also exhibited at the Worlds Fair New York (1939); Golden Gate Exhibition (1939); and the Corcoran Biennial (1941). His work is in the collection of the Detroit Institute of Art. He was the WPA supervisor in Chicago.
