* NORMAN EDGAR RGI( Scottish) Dusk at Gourock Oil on canvas, signed, artists label verso 1999 102 x 76 cm (40 x 30 inches) Note : Norman Edgar was born in Paisley (1948) and studied art at the Glasgow School of Art from 1966-70. He has exhibited widely and held successful solo and mixed exhibitions at prestigious galleries throughout the UK and including London. In 1993 he was appointed President of the Glasgow Art Club. Norman's work is held in prominent collections including HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, Heriot Watt University, Greenock Art Gallery, Argyll Education Authority, Refrew Education Authority, Lord Morton, Guiness Plc, United Distillers, Lord Macfarlane of Bearsden, Glasgow Dental Hospital, Pitlochry, Theatre and in numerous private collections in the U.S.A, Germany and Britain.
