Notes

Norah Gordon had studied at the National Gallery School from 1901 to 1908, later exhibiting with the Melbourne Society of Women Painters and Sculptors and the Australian Art Association. Gordon was in Europe bewteen 1914 and 1920, becoming a nurse in France during the First World War.
