NILES SPENCER (American, 1893-1952) URBAN STREET SCENE. Oil on canvas evening scene shows a street corner with three and four story buildings having lights in the windows. Several people are seen on sidewalk. Painting is done in bright colors which streak together. Signed lower left "Niles Spencer". Housed in a fine period gilt molded wood frame. Probably a New York street scene. SIZE: 22" x 30". CONDITION: Needs cleaning, heavy varnish lines at stretcher marks. Otherwise very good. 9-72957
