Nan Fergusson SSA, PSSWA (Scottish 1910-1984) Eyemouth Harbour watercolour, signed 33cm x 37cm Note: Nan Fergusson was born in Dumfries the daughter of artist Chris J Fergusson. She attended the Edinburgh College of Art and the Academie Scandinave in Paris. She was a regular exhibitor at The Royal Scottish Academy and The Royal Glasgow Institute of Fine Art. She was a member of the Scottish Society of Artists and was elected President of The Scottish Society of Women Artists. Fergusson's work is included in notable public and private collections in Scotland. She was married to artist James Henderson.
