Myrtle Fasken was a student at the Central School of Art in London where she mastered the skill of the lino and woodblock prints, for which she is most well known. A trip to Australia in 1929 to visit her brother's ranch fuelled her enthusiasm for Nral crafts and landscapes and the subjects became her main theme for her remaining career.
