Muriel Brandt RHA (1909-1981) MICHEµL MACLIAMMOIR signed lower right watercolour, pen and ink over pencil 46 by 36cm., 18 by 14in. Brandt also painted an oil group portrait of MacLiammoir alongside his fellow founders of the Gate theatre, Hilton Edwards and Lady Longford, which was presented to the Gate Theatre to mark its reopening on the 11 March 1971.
