Condition Report

This work is in very good condition. There is a sign of orange media accretion running from the lower right of the centre close the bottom edge, with some accretions along the right edge corner, all of which can be removed by a professional restorer. There are some fine drying cracks below the centre of the top edge. The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although they fail to convey the texture and the quality of the silver leaves used in the original work. The red tends towards a softer red.
