Miles Balmford Sharp (1897-1980), "Exmouth", signed, titled on verso, oil on board, 37 x 51cm.; 14.5 x 20in. * Sharp studied art at Bradford School of Art, Leeds School of Art, Royal College of Art and the Central School of Arts and Crafts. He exhibited at the Royal Academy; Royal Society of British Artists; Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours; Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists and had a number of one-man shows, including Foyles Gallery.
