Melita Denaro was born in Co Donegal of Maltese and Irish parents. She was educated in London and now divides her time between Donegal and London. Close to her home on the Isle of Doagh, she works at one with the fabulously changing light and fleeting glimpses of landscape to produce her very recognisable ethereal landscapes often vaguely inhabited by a cow or a little farmstead.
