Lithographic dedication partially printed in gold, 2 chromolithographic frontispieces showing the arms of the clans and 72 chromolithographic plates, all finished by hand. (Occasional light spotting.) Original morocco-backed green cloth, gilt upper covers and spines, lower covers in blind (endpapers renewed, joints repaired, extremities lightly rubbed). Provenance: Lily L. Macalester Berghmans (19th-century armorial bookplate).
