Notes

* Maud Naftel was the daughter of Paul Jacob Naftel and Isabel Naftel. She was born at Number 10 The Grange, St Peter Port, Guernsey.
Her watercolours are mostly held in private collections and in museums and very few of her works come onto the market.
She studied at The Slade and in Paris, also exhibited works at the Royal Academy. She died at the comparatively young age of 34.
