However, we are not responsible for errors or omissions in the cataloging or oral condition reports. A buyer has 30 days after the sale date in which to notify Cottone Auctions with questions regarding authenticity. Cottone Auctions does reserve the right to make verbal corrections and/or provide additional information from the block during the sale. It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to request a condition report & be well informed of the merchandise prior to placing a bid.

The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser. In event of any dispute between bidders, the auctioneer shall have absolute discretion in determining the successful bidder, or he may re-offer the disputed item for sale if he so wishes.

Absentee bids will be executed in a competitive manner by a representative of Cottone Auctions. Absentee bids will not be executed on items which are found to be other than described in the catalog.

It is the responsibility of the bidder to examine lots and decide on their level of interest. We have most items available for private preview usually one month before an auction, by appointment or during our posted preview hours prior to the auction. Lots are sold As Is. All sales are final.

Cottone Auctions recommends that you pre-approve your check if you plan to use this payment method. We ask for your patience as your purchase will be released upon notice that your check, money order, or wire transfer has cleared. NY State sales tax of 8% is added to purchases made by NYS residents, unless a valid NYS resale certificate is presented.
