Rettig 1936," cheerful still life with bold red carnations in a Rookwood vase with the fine hand-painted Art Deco motifs perfected by Lorinda Epply in the 1930s. Housed in the original hand-carved gilt wood frame with Deco elements at the corners. Each stretcher stamped "Getz-Brown Art Gallery / 114 W. 7th St. / Cincinnati, Ohio."
