70"T x 66"WRomantic female figures. Gouache on paper laid on board, signed on far right panel, center. A three paneled wooden screen, gouache on paper laid on board. Depicting two whimsical ladies in an outdoor setting; a female figure on the left panel painting a seminude young woman delicately holding together a grey and yellow fabric draped around her body on the right panel, with leaves and twigs in her long blonde hair. Figures are surrounded by smiling flowers, birds, and a fawn with a kerchief around its neck. Center panel is of the canvas with a branch used as the artist's easel, a white bird resting at top. Overall rust-colored ground. Each panel measures 70" x 22", hinged on verso; verso painted a creamy ivory color.
