Description

A silver tazza, an upturned roemer, a partly-peeled lemon, a knife and hazelnuts on a draped table remains of signature (centre left) oil on panel 43.7 x 34.4 cm. PROVENANCE with Galerie Internationale, The Hague, circa 1930, as W.C. Heda. SALESROOM NOTICE It has been noted that the tazza might be excecuted circa 1600 in the North-Netherlands. The knife is also to be dated to that period. Further more the Berkemeier is probably to be dated circa the mid-seventeenth century.
